The Cedar Festival takes on a particular dimension, as the Ifrane-Azrou cedar forest is among the most important in the world. As Morocco's green heritage, it is currently the subject of special attention. Preserving it is essential, hence an event which, against a cultural backdrop, focuses on the environment and the cedar. Various activities are organised: singing, music, exhibitions, and round tables. Azrou and Ifrane each have their own cedar festivals, aiming to show that the Moroccan cedar is a real asset to be safeguarded.
