12th edition of the Ifrane Astronomy Festival

A flagship scientific and cultural event in the national landscape

The city of Ifrane, with its beautiful and starry sky, hosts one of the largest cultural events in Morocco on space sciences intended for the general public: The Ifrane Astronomy Festival. This festival is organised by Al Akhawayn University of Ifrane: It aims to popularise and promote science and scientists to young people in order to stimulate their interest in science and technology.

During these seven days, festival-goers will have access to a panoply of scientific cultural activities: workshops, conferences, exhibitions, training, planetarium, competitions, observation nights, etc..

The theme of this year's edition is particularly aimed at highlighting the importance of astronomical instruments.
