Regional road number 707 connecting Ifrane and El Hajeb is experiencing slowness in its upgrading to become an expressway, due to the delay of works on several parts of the road which are in a deplorable state.
Some sections of the road are experiencing the presence of some potholes and weak paths, which causes damage to drivers who cross at night, especially since the section has not been fully completed, which forces drivers to be cautious during passage in the absence of dividing lines between the two sides.
The stumbling of works at the level of the road raises many questions among the residents and drivers, about the real reasons behind the delay of works in completing the road, and the accompanying difficulties, which requires intervention by the concerned authorities.
Some actors believe that the problem lies in the weak coordination between the parties accompanying the project, in the absence of monitoring and tracking the execution of works and respect for the specified time and the specifications, which requires the necessity of intervention and revealing the time duration and reasons for the stumbling of these works and accelerating the repair process at the level of some sections.
